Wadi Villa
Set low against the dry riverbed. The quietest of the nine, and the first to go.
Nine villas · Red rock country
A small desert retreat built into the rock: private plunge pools, no neighbours in sight, and a night sky the city took from you years ago.
The Retreat
Nothing here rises above the rock line. The villas are rammed earth, dug slightly into the slope, cooled by their own mass rather than by machinery you can hear.
We cap the property at nine villas because the silence is the product. Nobody is walking past your pool. Nobody is running a jet ski. There is only the wind and, at dusk, the birds coming back to the wadi.
Stay With Us
Every villa has a private pool, an outdoor shower and a bed you can pull onto the terrace.
Set low against the dry riverbed. The quietest of the nine, and the first to go.
Higher up the slope, west-facing, with the full run of the sunset from the pool.
Two bedrooms, a private cook on request, and a rooftop laid out for the stars.
A Day Here
Nothing is compulsory. This is simply how most guests end up spending it.
Coffee is left outside your door in a flask twenty minutes before first light. Walk up, or don't.
Served on your terrace, at the long table, or packed into a bag if you are heading out.
Two hours out with Rashid, who has been reading this landscape since he was eleven.
The pool, the shaded majlis, or a long nap. Nobody will knock.
One menu, cooked over coals, eaten outside. Wine list is short and chosen well.
Bortle 2 skies. On a clear night you will see the Milky Way without looking for it.
Guest Notes
“We did not speak to another guest for four days. That was not rudeness — you simply never see them.”
“Rashid stopped the car, turned the engine off, and let us listen to nothing for ten minutes. Best part of the trip.”
“I have never slept like that. No traffic, no aircon hum, no phone signal to be tempted by.”
Reserve
November to March books out three to four months ahead. Summer rates drop by a third, and the nights are extraordinary.
